Jessica “Jess” Myers joined Lewis & Knopf in 2023 as a Staff Accountant in the firm’s Audit and Tax departments. She began her professional career in accounting in 2015 and has continued to grow her expertise through both hands-on experience and advanced education.

Jess earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Baker College of Flint in 2022 and completed her Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Michigan–Flint in 2025. She credits her undergraduate professor, Mr. Leffler, with inspiring her career path. After taking her first accounting course, she changed her major and has not looked back since.

In her role at Lewis & Knopf, Jess assists with both audit and tax engagements, supporting clients with accuracy, diligence, and a strong commitment to learning. She is motivated by continuous improvement and brings determination and resilience to her work — qualities she feels are well reflected in her favorite quote by Theodore Roosevelt about being “the man in the arena.”

Outside of work, Jess enjoys spending time with her three sons, who keep her busy with football, lacrosse, soccer, robotics, engineering, and chess. She also enjoys game nights, concerts, and sporting events. Jess grew up in Mt. Morris, Michigan and currently resides in Davison. She shares her home with her three boys, two cats — Pepper and Pickles — and her silver Labrador, Murphy.
