Sara joined Lewis & Knopf in 2005 and currently serves as Senior Accounting Strategist and Manager of the Small Business Services Group. In her role, she works closely with small business clients as a strategy coach, specializing in accounting system design, process improvement, and tax preparation for both businesses and individuals.

Sara focuses primarily on serving medical and dental practices, providing guidance on efficient accounting processes, software implementation, and tax planning strategies. She helps clients design systems that maximize productivity and streamline operations, ensuring their financial information supports sound business decisions. Her work often includes assisting new business owners with registering accounts, implementing accounting software, and building a strong financial foundation from the start.

A QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor, Sara is passionate about helping clients use technology effectively to improve their workflow and reporting. She also serves as a board member for Goodjustice, a 501(c)(3) organization.

Sara attributes her love of accounting to her father, who was an accountant with Lewis & Knopf for many years and inspired her appreciation for numbers and the profession. She credits her growth and success to hard work, the mentorship of supportive colleagues, and a strong desire to serve others well.

After relocating to South Carolina, Sara transitioned to working virtually, developing strong time-management skills and creating an effective home workspace to continue delivering high-quality service to clients.

Originally from Michigan, Sara now resides in Fountain Inn, South Carolina. She and her husband, Jeff, have four children and one dog. She enjoys reading, traveling, hiking, and camping, and appreciates the small-town, family-oriented atmosphere of her community.
