Lewis & Knopf, CPA, P.C. is pleased to announce that Allen “AJ” Gamble, CPA, has been promoted to Partner, effective January 1, 2026. AJ has been an integral member of the firm, demonstrating exceptional leadership, technical expertise, and a strong commitment to client service.
AJ joined Lewis & Knopf in 2019 and has built his career around delivering high-quality assurance services to governmental, not-for-profit, and for-profit entities across Michigan. He specializes in audits, reviews, and compilations, helping organizations strengthen financial reporting, maintain compliance, and operate with confidence.

Throughout his career, AJ has been recognized for his strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to build meaningful client relationships. He is known for taking the time to understand each client’s goals and delivering proactive guidance tailored to their unique needs.
AJ earned both his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Master of Science in Accounting from Michigan State University. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his family and giving back to the community.
AJ also serves as a Board Director for the IMA Brookwood Association / First Tee of Eastern Michigan, where he has been involved since April 2021. His work with the organization supports youth development through programs that promote integrity, confidence, and leadership. As AJ notes, “It’s rewarding to help create meaningful experiences for the younger generation and support events the community looks forward to each year.”
